The Mackinac Bridge is a suspension bridge and has the worlds 19th longest main span and is longest in the western hemisphere between the anchorages. Opened in 1957 the "Big Mac" is 5 miles long, 552 high at the highest tower, and 155 feet above water level. Mackinaw City/St. Ignace, Michigan.
